The Vango Genesis 300 is a well priced, three berth tent that is great for weekends and lightweight trips away. This new model of the Genesis is a pleasant surprise as, although it’s a small tent, it is very accessible. This is due to the higher front beam that provides lots of porch room which feels even more extended as there is an entrance on both sides, so your tent can really be opened up.
The Genesis 300 is very easy to pitch due as it has an all in one/ flysheet pitching system and despite being small is sturdy due to the Vango AirBeam technology, a real benefit in windy conditions. The tent also has many other features that make Vango a great tent brand, such as a sewn in groundsheet to keep the warmth in and the damp out, reflective guylines and webbing points that can easily be picked out with a torch in the dark, and a rain gutter zip to keep the rain from coming in your tent through the zip.
All the tent doors have a secondary mesh to keep the smallest of insects out while allowing welcome ventilation in hot weather as well as large PVC windows which can be curtained for privacy or used to look at any great views. The inner of the Genesis 300 has also been designed well with conveniently placed storage pockets and high ventilation at the front and back of the tent allowing for plenty of air flow.
